Beside this the space in marina is used very effectively and as such offers comfort and vastness not only on the shore but also among the berths. Marina has new offices and sanitation.

The marina is protected by the moutain Kozjak from the north, while the peninsula Marjan and Čiovo shield the marina from the south.
Mild climate and favourable location in the middle of the Croatian coast are the main characteristics of the town Kastela.
The town's surroundings offer plenty of parks and other tourist or maritime sights.
The region with its natural beauties has always attracted people from the ancient Greece and Rome till nowadays.
The town was founded on the medieval ruins on the Mountain Kozjak slope. Seven beautiful old settlements, the seven Kastelas, are the main tourist attractions of the territory between Split and Trogir.
The town has very rich history. Tragurion, today known as Trogir, was founded by Greek colonits and merchants from the island Vis in the 3rd century BC. Later in the time of Roman Empire the town was known after its quality marble.
The most beautifully preserved settlement is Kastilac situated very close to the marina and built by the sisters of the Benedictine order from Split in the 16th century. The fortification was built on a reef.
It is surrounded by sea and connected with the shore by a stone bridge.
The town Kastela developed into the centre of the Middle Dalmatia as it is surrounded by towns such as Trogir, Solin and Split. Together they form attractive administrative, economic and cultural-historical entirety.
